5502W Smart Board - A new level of performance technology

Originally designed by AT&T Bell Labs, the traditional payphone is enhanced by QuorTech's patented intelligent microprocessor technology. Improvements include a higher-speed modem to allow for quicker downloads and improved tolerance on out-of-spec telephone lines.

The 5502W has also increased memory for more functionality, including larger Priority Parsing to handle more unique call situations. Multi-lingual voice prompts increase the payphone usability in special locations.

The 5502W fits into all Western style payphones.

5502W Features

The 5502W is line powered. It also features remotely downloadable operating system and site operation files. An onboard call diagnostic events recorder enables remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.

It has the highest quality digitized human voice prompts, and features the industry's most effective and accurate answer supervision circuitry.

The 5502, as well as the Series 5 and 5501, interfaces with the Window's based payphone management software, PNM Plus.

The circuit board is enclosed in a rugged aluminum housing. Further features include flexible call routing and the ability to handle unique call situations using priority parsing.

Modern telemetry allows for programming and monitoring through the phone's keypad or remote keypads. The 5502W stores detailed call records for better payphone management and Alarm reports (coin jam, handset, inactivity, cash box level, etc...) that are transmitted to PNM Plus.
